About Us

Santhigiri College is an institution for higher education. It is affiliated to MG University, Kottayam and approved by AICTE, Government of India. It aims at offering quality education and value education.NSS aims to inculcate social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In Santhigiri college the NSS unit is active from 2007.Prof K C Cyriac was the first programme officer in charge in this college.Currently,we have 2 NSS units with 200 volunteers.

NSS mission

The National Service Scheme has been functioning with the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education.
